A blog is the heart beat of your business.  You can get more traffic and it’s very simple to do.  When I started a blog everything double for me like my traffic, sponsoring and sales.

Blogs are designed to rank better and faster.  They have special features like no other platform that’s on the internet.  There was a test done.  A colleague of mine was trying to get there site ranked on Google.  A couple of weeks had gone back and they did have a high ranking.  To test the theory, a blog post was made and in five minutes the post had showed up in Google.  A blog can do all the things that websites can do on the internet and more.  Google loves blogs and rank them higher.

Blogs are superior because they have a feature that is called a ping.  A ping is a complex computer code. When you put a post on your blog it sends out an electronic message to Google.  This message is saying hey I just added new material on my blog and Google sends out its search spider robots to index the page immediately.  Here is where the real power of pinging comes in and most people are not using this.  You can add a ping list where you can have it update up to about 60 websites and it tells those sites that you have a new post.   So as soon as your post is posted you will instantly have about 60 blog posts pings.

Here is what you need to do.

You should have a list of websites that you put into your blog so when you create a post you can instantly get back links for every blog post.  The more sites linking in the more popular you are.  So blogs are superior because of pinging.

How can your blog build your business?

You need to be creating content daily and putting it on your blog. It is consistent work that is going to put you ahead of your competition.  You need to point your traffic to your lead capture page.  What you need to use is a word press blog.  Word press is the best to use.  It is free and has the best built in features.  You also need to have your own domain.  No one can kick you off and no one can band what you say.   You do not want to generate thousands of leads and get kicked off of a free website and loose all your traffic.

Monetize your blog.

Many people will find your blog and want to use the same tools and resources that you are using.  So why not get a commission on those sales.  List what resources that use and put your affiliate link on your blog.  Items like autoresponders, website hosting and places to be domain names is what people need for their business.  Go to Google and apply for an Adsense account.  You could be missing out on a couple of hundreds if you are not leveraging your effects.
